Stupid stairs…

No workout today. I was having a klutzy moment yesterday morning and stepped wrong on the top step of our stairs and slipped off the top one and landed on the next step on the side of my left foot. 

My ankle is sprained pretty good, so I decided against my usual cardio today. The walk to the gym alone would have been enough to aggrevate it. 

Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be back in the workout saddle again.

  1. If it is swollen, I have a wild remedy that will work wonders. Get a raw potato, slice it into slices not too thin. Place the slices on the bad area. Wrap the ankle with the potato slice on it with plastic, then wrap a ace bandage. leave on all night. When you get up take it off and you will see the ankle feels better and the swelling is gone. The potato draws all of the fluid out through the skin.

  2. It’s not really swollen enough to worry about. But I’ll definitely have to keep that in mind for future injuries.
